Hundreds Victimized in Mumbai Terror AttacksRead on the Events that Occurred on the Night of November 26, 2008
The Mumbai terror attacks of November 26, 2008 claimed the lives of more than 100 people, and investigations are still underway.
International law enforcement officialdom has plenty of work to do as details of Indian "night of terror" still unfold to this day. A basketful of sorrow further stained the unfortunate results of terrorism. It was an unthinkable and unspeakable act that one can never easily heal from, speaking from both a mental and physical perspective. Terror Attacks No One Can Ever Fully Recover FromFull recovery and complete safety of the people in Mumbai is what the U.S. as a nation, and the world in its entirety can always hope for. Moreover, with the rogue and horror these attacks surely serve, people from around the world will need to get to the bottom of this unthinkable crime. November 26 is indeed the date which none shall forget, the longest of nights for which international news agencies have reported that at least 170 people have been killed in one of the most unfathomable terrorist attacks in India’s history. Video shown on CNN.com on November 26 showed terrorists firing indiscriminately from a police van they hijacked as part of their planned mischief. Live images of this particular shooting were displayed in various media outlets throughout the world, especially on the internet. Among the witnesses of the van stood a news cameraman who himself was ducking and seeking shelter amidst the confusion and mindless ordeal that took place well into the night. Multiple Attacks Seemed Terrorist-Coordinated from the Beginning. The attacks on the late evening of November 26 seemed to be coordinated on a much larger scale on which Indian police may have lacked prior anticipation and preparation. On a live broadcast of CNN/IBN news on the early morning of the attacks, reporters mentioned that even the 1993 bombings in Mumbai stood inferior in terms of the damage done in their scoundrel and sinister nature to that of the terrorist attacks of November 26, 2008. In addition to the confrontations situated in major tourist hotels in Mumbai, reporters signaled back to their corresponding TV stations and told them that shootings were in progress just outside Café Leopold. Television stations also reported that attacks were also ongoing in hospitals and railway stations. Strong-pulling investigations and questioning from law enforcement authorities continue to unveil as the world looks for answers as to what created such a scar on the global human interface. A basketful of crimes of inconceivable proportion, the events that occurred that morning warranted an immediate reaction from writers, reporters, and all the rest of humankind as they look for ways in which such events and misdeeds can be prevented in the future in the most secure manner possible.
